Terms and Conditions
· Membership is open to schools, nurseries, colleges, families, community groups and art related organisations.
· Materials obtained from SCARF must not be resold, bartered or exchanged for personal gain or otherwise.
· SCARF staff take precautions to ensure that all of the materials are safe to use. Scarf Enterprises will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury resulting from the use of recovered materials nor accept any liability for damages in such instances.
· Members entering the SCARF store do so at their own risk. Any member who disregards health and safety advice within the store will be asked to leave immediately.
· As a consequence of the limitations of space and as safety measure children UNDER 16 are not allowed into the SCARF store.
· Parking is usually available on site but please be aware that children and other pedestrians also use this area.
· SCARF is a not for profit social enterprise. All income is used for the maintenance of the facility and other related projects.
· Visitors to the SCARF store will be asked to show proof of membership before any purchase can be made.
· Members who fail to renew their membership by the due date will not be entitled to make further purchases until the annual membership fee is paid.
· Membership is on an annual basis, running for one year from date of joining.
· Resources are charged for at the rates displayed within the store.
· Payments can be made by cash or cheque; we have no credit card facility.
· The SCARF Board retain the right to refuse membership.
· The acceptance of these terms is a condition of membership.
